The Raid Route and Itinerary 2010
The main route is a circuit of the Western Channel
The main route is a tour of the Western Channel coming up from the West Country and crossing to the Channel Islands before going on to Saint-Malo. The various starting points lead into the main Raid between the 23rd July and the 8th August.
Meeting points will be in the Solent, Plymouth, Weymouth, St Peter Port, Brest, & Saint-Malo
Social evenings will be organised in these main ports of call. News and arrangement details will be posted on this website and sent out in our newsletters.
100+ Boats in Saint-Malo:
We will be participating with 100+ French boats in the “Action Stations” Rally for cruisers and Regatta which includes a tour of the bay of Saint-Malo and nights in Concale and Saint-Cast. We have negotiated free berthing and social evenings to be included in the Goodwill Raid participation fees. See details in the costs sheet.

N.B. The ports indicated between the main ports of call are notional suggestions. Skippers are not required to go to them or to take the suggested route. Routing decisions are the responsibility of each and every skipper, and will be taken at the time, dependant on wind, weather and tide. Past experience show skippers form up into one or more groups and sail in easy proximity of each other, forming a flotilla.

N.B. The organisers reserve the right to change the programme and itinerary at anytime, as they deem necessary.
