The Raid Route and Itinerary 2010

Starting from Brest - Raid Routes 6 & b7

There are two routes from Brest, one via the North coast of Brittany to Saint-Malo or the other taking you on a good romp ( or as the French say “une bonne ballade”) around the Channel taking in L’Aber Wrac’h and Plymouth on your way up the Devon coast to meet the main flotilla in Weymouth. Returning to Brest via the Channel Islands, Saint-Malo and the North Brittany coast.

N.B. The ports indicated between the main ports of call are notional suggestions. Skippers are not required to go to them or to take the suggested route. Routing decisions are the responsibility of each and every skipper, and will be taken at the time, dependant on wind, weather and tide. Past experience show skippers form up into one or more groups and sail in easy proximity of each other, forming a flotilla.
