The Raid Route and Itinerary 2010

Starting from the Solent or from Plymouth - Raid Routes 1 & 2

You can join the Raid in Plymouth and sail to meet the rest of the South Coast flotilla in Weymouth. We will organise a gathering in Mayflower Marina on the evening of Friday 23rd July.

If you want to join in the Solent, we are in the process of arranging a gathering which will be on Saturday evening 24th July and is likely to be in Yarmouth or Lymington. The Solent is always very busy at this time of the year so we will be arranging the berth bookings for you. This gives boats a 3 day window to sail to Weymouth.

N.B. See the N.B. paragraph below.

N.B. The ports indicated between the main ports of call are notional suggestions. Skippers are not required to go to them or to take the suggested route. Routing decisions are the responsibility of each and every skipper, and will be taken at the time, dependant on wind, weather and tide. Past experience show skippers form up into one or more groups and sail in easy proximity of each other, forming a flotilla.
