The Raid Route and Itinerary 2010
Starting from Wales or from Ireland - Raid Route 3
Yachts and skippers based in Wales and Ireland can meet in Milford Haven. We will fix a meeting time and place convenient to all. We have used Dale in the past, had a pontoon party on the offshore pontoon and left early the next morning. From there it is a case of sailing South in groups to round Lands End and meet the South Coast Flotilla in Plymouth on the evening of the 23rd July. Skippers will agree rendezvous ports and/or anchorages, and check in procedures for use on the way down. You may be met on the Falmouth area by French boats on their way across from Brest and Northern Brittany.
N.B. See the N.B. paragraph below.

N.B. The ports indicated between the main ports of call are notional suggestions. Skippers are not required to go to them or to take the suggested route. Routing decisions are the responsibility of each and every skipper, and will be taken at the time, dependant on wind, weather and tide. Past experience show skippers form up into one or more groups and sail in easy proximity of each other, forming a flotilla.
